Angelique Salazar Belvill – Founder & Owner

Angelique founded U Lucky Dog in 2010 after recognizing the need for higher standards in dog daycare and boarding. Her vision was to create a place where safety, structure, and genuine care were never compromised.

Today, Angelique remains deeply involved in the business, overseeing operations, staff training, and client experience. Her hands-on leadership and commitment to thoughtful systems have shaped U Lucky Dog into one of Denver’s most established and respected dog care facilities.

Jason Belvill – Director of Business Development

In addition to his work in the wellness industry, Jason serves as Director of Business Development at U Lucky Dog, Denver’s award-winning dog daycare founded by his wife, Angelique Belvill.

In this role, Jason supports growth, strategy, and customer experience, helping guide the long-term vision of the business. Splitting time between Bothell, Washington and Denver, Colorado, he remains deeply committed to family, community, and service while playing an active role in the continued evolution of U Lucky Dog.

Leonard “Nino” Mondragon – Maintenance Supervisor

Leonard, affectionately known as “Nino,” has been part of the U Lucky Dog family since December 2011. As Angelique’s godfather — “Nino” in Spanish — he has truly become everyone’s Nino at Club ULD.

Leonard is responsible for keeping the facility operating at the highest standard, overseeing all maintenance, repairs, and renovations. From day-to-day upkeep to major improvement projects, his work ensures that U Lucky Dog remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Leonard also played a key role in the design and construction of U Lucky Dog’s indoor swimming pool, along with many other facility enhancements over the years.
